Prin urmare, procurorii PCCOCS au trimis în judecată dosarul de învinuire a acestuia pentru „declaraţia necorespunzătoare adevărului, făcută unui organ competent în vederea producerii unor consecinţe juridice, pentru sine sau pentru o terţă persoană, atunci când, potrivit legii sau împrejurărilor, declaraţia serveşte pentru producerea acestor consecinţe.”Reprezentanții PG mai menționează că ex-deputatul nu-și recunoaște vina pentru cele imputate. La 2 noiembrie Igor Dodo i-a retras cetăţenia R. Moldova fostului deputat român, iar la 3 noiembrie acesta a fost reținut de oamenii legii, ulterior, extrădat în România.
